Shortlist Success for Travelers Europe

Travelers Europe has been shortlisted for two awards at this year’s Insurance Insider Honours!

We are thrilled to announce that we have been shortlisted for the Cuthbert Heath award, a category which recognises the reaction and response to major losses and claims events. Our entry focused on a nine-year claim involving a customer who sold DVDs and CDs. In 2011, a gang broke into their warehouse, looted the building, and threw petrol bombs into it, destroying our customer’s stock. We pursued a claim against the warehouse owner for not ensuring the building was secure. The claim was eventually resolved in our customer’s favour.

We’ve also been shortlisted for the Diversity & Inclusion award for the second year running. In this year’s entry, we gave examples of the work we have done across our organisation, referencing our diversity networks, our mental health first aiders, our diversity training and objectives, and our partnerships with organisations like the African-Caribbean Insurance Network and Insurance Ireland’s Inclusion Taskforce.

Over the past year, we have been recognised by a number of different awards bodies – including the British Insurance Awards and the Insurance Times Awards – for our diversity and inclusion efforts. In March 2020, we won the Inclusion and Diversity (Internal Programme) category at the National Insurance Awards.
